In March 2011, an 8.9 earthquake triggered one of the world's worst tsunamis in recorded history, costing the lives of over ten thousand innocent people. The widespread destruction caused a hindrance for the delivery of necessary goods such as food, water and blankets. Numerous cities were completely wiped out, leaving hundreds of people homeless and suffering.
