The Other
The Other is an exciting new line designed by Cheryl Koo that transforms casual clothing into wearable, cozy-couture level art.
Inspired by The Swan in the well-known story of the Ugly Duckling, The Other embodies the "ugly is beauty" philosophy, and features an eclectic, energetic line of cropped jackets, long coats, harem pants, skirts and trousers re-imagined in sculptural shapes and exaggerated urban architectural treatments.
Some have compared Cheryl's design fluidity to Norma Kamali and Donna Karan while her arresting detailing is likened to Vivienne Westwood and Thierry Mugler.
